Quality has always been a top priority for TFA. That’s why we take care that all criteria regarding this are met over the whole breadth of the supply chain.

The first controls take place at the growers where the flowers are picked and sorted.

In the case of our African growers the next control phase takes place at the airport over there. This is where, amongst others, the temperature is checked, a crucial factor during air transportation.
Arrival inspection takes place upon entry at TFA. The flowers are checked for temperature, quality and method of packaging. Reports of these daily quality checks are sent directly, by e-mail, to the appropriate growers, if necessary accompanied by digital photographs.

Every party that appears before the TFA auction clock, is inspected by our own employers and if necessary provided with an inspection certificate.

Products that are sold directly, i.e. without an auction, are guaranteed to have undergone an extensive screening process that covers quality requirements and product specifications, as requested by the customer in question.
